We are looking for a mid-level to senior-level software developer, with an orientation towards Microsoft technologies (VB, VB.Net, ASP, ASPX, etc.) We are a US IT consulting company specializing in offshoring, and we would like to expand our operations into Romania. The developer will be required to work 40+ hours/week as needed. The developer will also be required to have a PC and Internet access, as most of the work will be done directly on our servers and on/against our databases. Login is through RDP client. This is an 8-5 position, Monday-Friday, working from home. This will change shortly as we will be actively looking for adequate office space in the city where the developer will be hired. Preference will be given to applicants in major metropolitan areas, such as Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, etc.

CS degree, 4+years development experience (you will be required to document this in the interview process).
Fluency in English (spoken and grammatical) necessary. Experience with Microsoft technologies an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY, VB, VBA, VBScript, ASP to be specific.
Strong SQL Server experience necessary.
Oracle 9i and Java are considered a plus, but not necessary.
Experience performing standard database testing and data analysis. Technical background pertaining to database design, data extraction and manipulation.
Good knowledge of the development lifecycle, including QA.
Students will be considered for this position provided they can prove they meet our requirements.
